As a Customer Drawings Drafter, you will be responsible for creating and completing various types of drawings and 3D models according to customer and industry standards. This role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and customers, ensuring accurate documentation, and maintaining continuous communication for project success. The position requires a recent graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline and proficiency in Computer-Aided Drafting systems.

Responsibilities

Create assembly drawings, dimensioning and notes, validating customer assembly layouts according to requirements and standards.
Create simplified models in universal format for customer submission.
Perform drafting work for 2D or 3D systems.
Complete 3D models based on programmed CS systems.
Complete outline, quote, and ADCI Fisher First assembly drawings.
Complete nuclear drawings adhering to nuclear drafting and quality standards.
Document all drawing revisions and changes.
Organize information including requirements, revisions, change requests, and mistakes for customer inquiries.
Develop portions of project schedules.
Assure safety-related requirements are met.
Maintain continuous communication with multidisciplinary teams and customers in Mexico and USA.
Provide continuous updates of nuclear drawings to partners and Project Managers.
Work with internal stakeholders to resolve drawing-related issues.
Mentor new hires and/or co-ops.

Requirements

Solid understanding of Computer-Aided Drafting systems.
Experience working in both 2D and 3D environments.
Strong mechanical and technical aptitude.
Excellent visualization skills.
Familiarity with internal and industry standards.
Ability to interpret diagrams and identify potential issues.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or related technical discipline.
Recently graduated.
Previous project/initiative experience related to this job description.
Self-driven and flexibility to work as a team member.
Ability to resolve customer complaints.
Ability to operate and utilize engineering computer systems to enter, find, e-mail, and categorize part drawings and part number information.
Ability to identify and initiate continuous improvement efforts.
English language proficiency: TOEIC +700 points / Intermediate B1.
