The Customer Care Specialist manages the order-to-cash process, ensuring accurate and efficient order fulfillment from acceptance to invoicing. This role involves coordinating with customers, internal departments, and logistics providers to resolve issues and maintain smooth operations, including handling import/export documentation.

Responsibilities

Manage the order-to-cash process for various order types.
Ensure accurate and efficient order processing, from acceptance to invoicing.
Coordinate equipment, parts, and technical expertise orders.
Monitor order-related costs and coordinate warehousing and shipments.
Act as the main point of contact for customers, providing order status updates.
Cooperate with internal departments, suppliers, and logistics providers.
Manage purchase and verification of supplier shipping documents.
Coordinate export and import activities, including customs documentation.
Maintain accurate supplier database information.
Monitor backlog and work-in-progress activities.
Administer and follow up on customer and supplier claims.

Requirements

Previous experience in customer care, order management, order administration, or a similar operational role.
Good understanding of order fulfillment, logistics, and invoicing processes.
Strong organizational and coordination skills.
Ability to manage multiple orders and priorities simultaneously.
Good communication and customer-service skills.
Ability to work effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
Accuracy and attention to detail.
Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
Good command of written and spoken English.

Desired Qualifications

Experience with import/export documentation and customs procedures is an advantage.
Knowledge of Italian and/or other languages is an advantage.
Proactive, structured, and solution-oriented approach.
