The candidate will work in a fast-paced, high-energy team focusing on Linux kernel gaming scheduler development on the Android phone platform. Responsibilities include development, optimization, and maintenance of the Linux Kernel gaming scheduler, participating in performance/power enhancement and debug, and supporting customer optimization features. Requires strong C and Data Structures, knowledge of Linux Kernel functionality and architecture, familiarity with GIT, and basic debugging skills. Knowledge of ARM assembly and low-level CPU architecture is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Linux Kernel gaming scheduler Development, Optimization and Maintenance.
- Participate in kernel scheduler, performance power enhancement and debug.
- Support customer optimization features.
Requirements
- Strong in C and Data structures, preferably in developing Linux kernel in Android platform.
- Knowledge of Linux Kernel functionality and architecture including knowledge of boot up, SMP, scheduler etc.
- Familiar with version control tool such as GIT.
- Basic debugging and problem solving skills.
- Understanding of low-level CPU architecture (core, cache, MMU, bus architecture, etc.).
Desired Qualifications
- knowledge of assembly ARM is preferred.
