Responsibilities

  • Assist with planning and supporting local and internal events.
  • Help update website content, improve SEO, and create landing pages.
  • Develop marketing materials, including fact sheets, emails, and social media posts.
  • Contribute to high-impact projects, support strategic communication initiatives.
  • Help create engaging experiences for both internal and external audiences.
  • Coordinate the City of Denton's _Twilight Tunes_ community event.
  • Support annual _Sustainability Week_ activities.
  • Partner with Customer Innovation Center team to deliver customer experiences.

Requirements

  • Suggested majors: Communications, Marketing, Journalism, General Business, English, Public Relations, Advertising
  • High team orientation
  • Proactivity and self-starter mentality
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute
  • Availability of working onsite for 8 hours a day (40 hours/week) during the summer
  • Graduation must be after the internship has ended

  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
