Responsibilities
- Oversee the preparation of proposals and negotiation and administration of contracts in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Manage cradle to grave contract management including reviewing contract documents and advising management, internal organizations, and customers of contractual rights and obligations.
- Conduct proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities.
- Examine proposal requirements and estimates, prepare bids, analyze terms and conditions and other contractual documents to evaluate risk, accuracy, and completeness.
- Coordinate internal audit programs, monitor overall audit findings, and compile and communicate audit status reports.
- Establish operational plans for contract programs, developing and implementing new processes, standards, or operational plans.
- Prepare proprietary information agreements, teaming agreements, export licenses/agreements and various types of memoranda.
Requirements
- Self-starter with the ability to handle complex contracts with minimum supervision.
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated skill and ability to perform complex tasks and strong attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of FAR and DFARS.
- Experience with different contract types including Firm Fixed Price, Cost Type and Time and Material contracts.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance.
- Bachelor’s Degree and 10+ years of relevant experience.
