Responsibilities

  • Responsible for in-process and final inspection of low voltage products (ACB, MCCB, contactors, relays).
  • Develop and implement Quality Plans, Control Plans, inspection checklists, CTQs, and quality gates.
  • Monitor process performance using FPY and implement continuous improvement and Opex initiatives.
  • Handle customer complaints by performing root cause analysis and implementing CAPA.
  • Coordinate customer audits, FAT, and certification audits (UL, CSA, CCC, ISO).
  • Conduct product testing as per IEC and catalogue specifications using advanced test equipment.

Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in a similar quality role.
  • Minimum 8 years of practical experience in quality assurance in the low voltage switchgear industry.
  • Proficient in quality tools and methodologies (FMEA, 7 QC tools, 5S, 5 Why, Kaizen, Poka-Yoke, SPC, DMAIC, 8D).
  • Experience with low voltage products (MCCB, ACB, contactors, thermal overload relays).
  • Good understanding of low voltage switchgear products.
  • Ability to analyze and resolve complex quality issues.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with advanced test equipment.
  • Experience with industrial circuit breakers, low-voltage systems, motor starting applications, and safety devices.
