This hybrid role focuses on accelerating customer outcomes by architecting and deploying first-class cloud infrastructure solutions in Azure. The Cloud Solution Architect Azure Infra will lead a team to ensure customers gain value from Microsoft investments, focusing on proactive services like education, assessments, and tailored guidance, with a significant emphasis on reliability, security, and incident resolution for mission-critical workloads.
Responsibilities
- Deliver Support Mission Critical Service offerings, collaborating with CSU, CSS, CxP, Engineering, and other teams.
- Lead Proactive Resiliency Efforts, coordinate Accelerated Incident Resolution, and Monitoring & Observability features.
- Prioritize Reliability, Security, Supportability, Manageability, and Monitoring/Observability for specific workloads.
- Ensure awareness and visibility into critical incidents to capture RCAs and link them to Proactive Resiliency efforts.
- Collaborate with CxP resources for customer onboarding and drive customer-owned monitoring for observability.
- Build partnerships with CSAM to define roles, responsibilities, and manage escalations.
- Coordinate with leads of Accelerated Incident Resolution and Proactive Monitoring work streams.
- Ensure comprehensive, up-to-date KnowMe is available and work with CxP to share RCAs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field.
- Solid working experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, IT consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR equivalent experience.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements.
- Must pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Desired Qualifications
- Significant experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, IT consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR equivalent experience.
- Azure IaaS related experience is required.
- Subject Matter Expertise in one or more of the following Azure IaaS areas: Azure IaaS, Storage, Networking, Compute, High availability and disaster recovery features for IaaS components.
- Working experience with developing, debugging, performance tuning and supporting: Dev Ops and knowledge of Azure Web Apps/App Services, Web Application Firewall; Azure PaaS, Service Fabric, Azure App Services; AKS, Key Vault, Managed Service Identity, Azure AD App Authentication/OAuth; Kubernetes Services/Containers; API Management, API Connections; Logic Apps/Function Apps; Notification Hubs; C#, .NET Framework/.NET Core, Java, Python or related.
- Demonstrate a strong ability to develop strategic ongoing customer relationships.
- Certification in Microsoft and other Cloud Technologies.

- Typical base pay range for this role across Portugal is € 43,300.00 - € 74,300.00 per year.
