As a part-time Carts Attendant at IKEA Atlanta, you will ensure an enjoyable shopping experience by providing efficient cart services, maintaining store tools, and assisting customers. This role involves supporting various customer service areas and contributing to a positive and inclusive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly and efficient car loading and/or unloading services.
- Keep the loading zone clean by clearing away straps, excess carts, and cardboard.
- Ensure all physical shopping tools (carts, pencils, bags, maps, twine) are adequately stocked and maintained.
- Fill physical shopping tools at closing.
- Monitor the condition of physical and digital shopping tools, report IT issues, and remove unsafe tools.
- Address customer needs, resolve issues independently, and escalate to a manager when needed.
- Support other customer service areas like Full Serve Hand Out (FSHO), Exchanges & Returns, and Click & Collect.
- Ensure accurate order handoff for Click & Collect customers.
- Contribute to an environment where IKEA culture embraces diversity.
Requirements
- Lifting up to 50lbs and walking frequently.
- Ability to work outdoors 50% of the time.
