In short

As a Retail Carts Co-worker at IKEA Paramus, you will ensure an enjoyable shopping experience by providing friendly car loading services, stocking and maintaining physical shopping tools, and addressing customer needs. This part-time role requires open availability on Fridays and Saturdays, with an hourly pay rate of $19.50.

Responsibilities

Provide friendly and efficient car loading and/or unloading services while keeping the loading zone clean.
Ensure all physical shopping tools (carts, pencils, bags, maps, twine) are adequately stocked and maintained.
Fill physical shopping tools at closing.
Monitor the condition of physical and digital shopping tools, report IT issues, and remove unsafe tools.
Address customer needs and resolve issues independently, escalating to a manager when necessary.
Support in other customer service areas such as Full Serve Hand Out (FSHO), Exchanges & Returns, and Click & Collect.
Provide a simple and efficient handout experience for FSHO.
Ensure products and equipment are properly staged when supporting Returns.
Create a positive customer experience by ensuring accurate order handoff for Click & Collect.
Contribute to an inclusive environment embracing diversity.

Requirements

Lifting up to 50lbs and walking frequently.
Working outdoors 50% of the time.

Desired Qualifications

Must be able to work some weekdays and weeknights.
Must have completely open working availability Fridays and Saturdays between the hours of 9:30 AM to 10:30 PM.
