Microsoft is looking for a Campus Contracts Manager in Singapore to lead sourcing and contracting for datacenter projects. This hybrid role requires extensive experience in construction project management, supply chain, and contract negotiation with a strong commercial understanding and knowledge of the data center industry.

Responsibilities

  • Create, maintain, and execute multi-year sourcing strategies for complex projects and purchasing opportunities, optimizing costs and ensuring continuity of supply.
  • Integrate business specifications into RFI/RFP processes, manage supplier evaluation frameworks, and partner with suppliers to drive innovation.
  • Lead contract and price negotiation activities, ensuring alignment with cross-functional engagements.
  • Apply end-to-end understanding of procurement processes to drive business impact and lead decision-making around workstream processes.
  • Ensure adherence to policy, educate stakeholders and suppliers on compliance, and drive remediation of sourcing issues.
  • Monitor and mitigate the impact of change orders, and partner cross-functionally to adjust impact models.
  • Drive early business engagements with cross-functional leadership to define and drive action on supply solutions and strategies.
  • Train external stakeholders during onboarding and identify engagement programs to improve supplier performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Management, Supply Chain or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in Construction Project Management, Supply Chain, and Operations.
  • Extensive experience in sourcing, procurement and contract execution management on large complex Construction and Capital Projects.
  • Strong commercial understanding and experience negotiating with General Civil Contractor/ Trade Contractor and similar.
  • Knowledge of data center industry, and/or mission critical experience.
  • Experience managing a variety of project delivery methods.
  • Ability to collaborate with a project team in defining risk and developing appropriate contracting and compensation approaches.
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements, including Microsoft Cloud Background Check.

Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge of at least two of the following industry templates and standards are preferred: FIDIC, AIA, CSI, AACEI, SCEA, RICS.
