Qualcomm China is seeking a Camera ISP Algorithm System Engineer in Guangdong to research, develop, and tune next-generation camera features for Snapdragon chipsets. This role involves designing auto exposure and tone algorithms, optimizing image processing on various hardware cores, and supporting deployment on mobile platforms.
Responsibilities
- Research and development for next generation camera features and image quality improvement.
- Prototype solutions on mobile platforms for proof of concept and demonstration purposes.
- Deployment and tuning support of solutions that improve the mobile imaging experience.
- Design of camera systems that balance power, memory, silicon area to maximize imaging performance.
- Design auto exposure / tone algorithm to achieve best camera image auto exposure quality.
- Design image processing algorithm and acceleration on CPU/GPU/DSP.
Requirements
- 5+ years working experiences in camera and image processing technologies.
- Expert at camera 3A algorithm design and implementation.
- Deep understanding of ISP pipeline and brightness modules, mobile camera sensors and optics.
- Linux SW development experience.
- Hands-on experience developing algorithms for mobile devices.
- Image signal processor pipeline design.
- Customer support/ camera tuning experience.
- Proficient in C, C++, Python, Matlab.
- Familiar with digital camera basic concept.
- Proficient in Lightroom/Photoshop editing tool and LUTs implement is better.
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
