Aerospace & Defense Business Operations Analyst needed to support S&OP and Demand Planning processes by leveraging data analytics for forecast accuracy and business insights. This hybrid role in Austin, TX requires strong collaboration skills and experience with large datasets and business systems.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Product Management, Global Operations, BU Operations & Business Management, Demand & Supply Chain, and Sales to support the monthly S&OP process.
  • Develop a deep understanding of business strategies, processes, and operations from a data-driven perspective.
  • Analyze demand, bookings, backlog, inventory, supply constraints, and fulfillment performance to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Gather and communicate insights to drive positive business impact.
  • Monitor demand signals, supply risks, and customer escalations, providing timely visibility and recommendations to executive leadership.
  • Document business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and implement process enhancements to increase organizational efficiency.
  • Support monthly planning cycles, including forecasting, demand planning, and operational reviews.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree, with > 5 years of related experience
  • High degree of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail
  • Strong business acumen with demonstrated ability to use data-driven insights to evaluate risks, opportunities, and business performance
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and an ability to influence
  • Experience working with large data sets and multiple business systems
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Business acumen and analytical capabilities; ability to use data-driven insights to make decisions and evaluate risks and opportunities.
  • Experience supporting S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) processes, and/or experience working within Kinaxis Demand & Supply Tool (Maestro)

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with data management and visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, and Salesforce Analytics a plus
