Amazon Digital Services is seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer I for FinOps in Bengaluru. This role involves designing, managing, and utilizing large datasets to answer key business questions, delivering standardized performance metrics, and supporting operations teams with SQL reports and analytics. The ideal candidate has experience with data analysis tools, scripting languages, and a passion for data-driven insights.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver standardized performance metrics for internal customers and stakeholders.
  • Provide operational bandwidth to Operations teams to focus on business partnering initiatives.
  • Partner with the program team in executing defined roadmap of projects.
  • Provide ad hoc support to operations team for SQL report creation, modification, and optimization.
  • Debug report issues, unblock workflows, and communicate with other teams and stakeholders by providing regular status updates.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience.
  • Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools.
  • Experience with one or more industry analytics visualization tools (e.g. Excel, Tableau, QuickSight, MicroStrategy, PowerBI) and statistical methods (e.g. t-test, Chi-squared).
  • Experience with scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, or R).

Desired Qualifications

  • Master's degree, or Advanced technical degree.
  • Knowledge of data modeling and data pipeline design.
  • Experience with statistical analysis, co-relation analysis.
