As a Business Finance Analyst for Google India, you will be a strategic partner to the India leadership team, focusing on Ads Sales. You will manage financial operations including reporting, forecasting, and target setting, and leverage sophisticated financial modeling to support critical strategic decisions and shape long-term financial strategy.
Responsibilities
- Support India’s critical business finance operations for Large Customer Sales (LCS) Ads business, including business reporting, forecasting, target setting, analysis, and budget management.
- Provide management with insights and recommendations into drivers of business, market trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Engage in deep analyses to generate insights and recommendations.
- Act as a strategic enabler for AI transformation, elevating deliverables and accelerating operational efficiencies.
- Serve as a liaison between central Finance teams and local teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function.
- Experience executing full-cycle FP&A functions including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and modeling within a multinational company setting.
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced proficiency in spreadsheets and SQL.
- Demonstrated experience leveraging AI tools/LLMs to automate workflows or enhance data analysis.
- Ability to take initiative, navigate ambiguity, and work in an unstructured environment.
- Distinctive problem-solving skills with a proven track record of building complex financial models and identifying non-obvious trends in large datasets.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and presentation skills; ability to craft and deliver a message with credibility to influence executive leadership.
