Business Controller South Europe (H/F)

As a Business Controller for South Europe, you will be responsible for financial operations, strategic financial decisions, and internal control environment. Reporting to the General Manager, you will manage reporting, compliance, credit control, and internal/external service providers. This role requires a university degree in Financial Management or Business Control, knowledge of ISO standards, MS Office, Lotus Notes, SAP, labor laws, and fluency in English and French.
Responsibilities
- Achieve results as per objectives agreed with the General Manager.
- Develop, implement, and follow up on administrative processes for the Region.
- Ensure reporting procedures align with company standards and local laws.
- Manage group reporting and the planning process, including plans, targets, and expectancies.
- Oversee compliance of statutory accounts, legal, and tax reporting.
- Pro-actively manage credit control, collection, and customer financing.
- Manage cash and asset.
- Steer internal and external service providers in finance, administration, and IT.
- Ensure internal control environment.
- Promote professional development for employees.
- Ensure compliance with the Atlas Copco Business Code Of Practice.
- Develop the Sales organisation in business control principles and guidelines, including financial training.
Requirements
- University degree and broad experience in Financial Management or Business Control.
- Solid knowledge within the ISO standards regarding Safety, Health, Environment and Quality.
- Good knowledge of MS Office, Lotus Notes and SAP.
- Good knowledge of labour laws and the collective agreements within the Region.
- Fluent in English and good knowledge in French, both in writing and speaking.
