Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and driven Backend Development Intern to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time, hybrid position based in Ashkāsham, Badakhshan, Afghanistan, offering an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in building and maintaining server-side logic, databases, and APIs. As a Backend Development Intern, you will collaborate with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance. You will be involved in writing efficient and scalable code, debugging, and implementing security best practices, contributing to real-world projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain server-side logic using Node.js, Python, or Java.
• Design, implement, and manage databases (SQL and NoSQL).
• Build and consume REST APIs for seamless integration with frontend applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues in the backend systems.
• Implement security best practices to protect data and systems.
• Work with Docker and microservices architecture.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure smooth integration.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Skills and Competencies

• Strong understanding of backend development principles.
• Proficiency in at least one of the following languages: Node.js, Python, or Java.
• Experience with REST APIs.
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Basic knowledge of Docker and microservices architecture.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
