We are seeking an experienced Automation Test Lead with expertise in Java and Selenium to join our team in Vijayawada, India. The role involves leading end-to-end functional testing, developing test strategies, and conducting automation testing using Selenium. Preferred candidates will have banking domain experience and familiarity with Jira and Agile methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end functional testing efforts for software projects.
- Develop test strategies, test plans, test cases, and execute test scripts.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on testing requirements.
- Conduct Selenium automation testing to enhance test efficiency and coverage.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Implement best practices for software testing and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Mentor and guide team members on testing methodologies and tools.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to resolve testing issues.
Requirements
- Proven experience in end-to-end functional testing, Selenium, and software testing.
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Proficiency in creating test cases, test scripts, and test reports.
- Ability to conduct automation testing using Selenium for web applications.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Must have: Functional testing, automation testing, Selenium, Jira, qtest.
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred - Banking Domain 3 yrs+, Fraud testing, Actimize, data testing experience.
- Extensive Test Lead/QA lead role experience.
- Experience in requirement analysis, functional and UAT testing, test case creation, execution, defect management, requirement traceability matrix, reporting, and stakeholder management.
- Experience in team leading, project leading, business coordination for demos, requirement clarification.
- Good Exposure to Automation Testing.
- Good attitude and good communication.
- Preferred experience - Jira, qTest, Agile Methodology.
- For Offshore requirements - Should be flexible to support onsite overlap hours until 11 AM CST.
- Good to have: Fraud domain knowledge, Testing in Actimize application.
- ISTQB certification in software testing is preferred but not mandatory.
