Responsibilities
- Monitor network alarms, events, and KPIs to identify service-impacting conditions and trends.
- Perform incident analysis and troubleshooting using operational data and tools.
- Register, document, track, and manage incidents throughout their lifecycle.
- Escalate incidents to appropriate technical teams and stakeholders.
- Support major incident management activities, including coordination and communication.
- Support planned maintenance activities and verify service stability post-implementation.
- Produce accurate and timely operational reports on incidents and performance.
- Contribute to process improvements, automation, and knowledge sharing to enhance operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Telecommunications, IT, Electronics, or related field.
- Knowledge of telecommunications technologies and Operations Support Systems (OSS) tools.
- Professional proficiency in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
- Understanding of incident management principles, processes, and lifecycle practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, especially during service-impacting situations.
- A structured and customer-focused approach to operational work.
- Ability to remain calm, organized, and collaborative during incidents.
- Commitment to accurate documentation, follow-through, and continuous learning.
- Willingness to work across teams and follow operational, security, and escalation procedures.
