Responsibilities
- Learn sensor data processing, analog and digital hardware, computer networking, and embedded & server software systems.
- Perform hands-on technical investigations into air traffic control and sensor processing hardware and software.
- Support new feature development and change requests from internal product maintenance and international customers.
- Create and maintain product specifications and technical documentation.
- Support field teams during deployment of customer systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or equivalent
- 0-3 years of relevant experience in safety critical or mission critical industries (e.g., aerospace, defense/military, medical, transportation, nuclear, etc.)
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to form productive relationships in a team environment
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Must be a U.S. citizen, Permanent Resident (green card holder), or protected individual.
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or related discipline
- Familiarity with analog and digital signal communications (e.g., voice, audio, sensor data)
- Familiarity with development of safety-critical software systems
- Familiarity with Windows and/or Linux server applications
- Familiarity with data processing and tool development using MATLAB
- Familiarity with networked computer systems and/or virtual machine environments
- Familiarity with cybersecurity, system hardening, and/or intrusion testing
