AWS India is seeking an Associate Solutions Architect in Bengaluru to help customers implement cloud technologies, focusing on emerging domains like GenAI and Microservices. This role involves owning technical engagements, advising customers on cloud strategies, and contributing to AWS's growth in the Retail/CPG sector.

Responsibilities

Serve as a key technical member of the Retail/CPG Account team in helping to ensure customer success in building applications and services on the Amazon Web Services platform.
Scope each customer engagement, with attention towards clear and well-defined objectives and success criteria.
Own each technical engagement, and help ensure a timely and successful delivery of value.
Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the solution architect community.
Understand the Amazon Web Services market segments, customer base, and industry verticals.
Help your customers plan their successful cloud journey leveraging emerging technologies like GenAI to achieve business outcomes.
Solve complex, technical challenges so your customers can focus on their business.
Use your knowledge to craft scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures.
Drive or take part in technical solutions discussions, diving deep into the details with customer teams.
Build relationships to understand our customers and partners.
Use your interpersonal skills to influence a variety of stakeholders from technical teams to executives.
Help ensure their short-term technology decisions are aligned with their long-term goals.
Speed up the adoption of our services.
Act as thought leader in the wider community.
Take part in educating, sharing best practices, presenting at events, writing white papers, blogs, and running workshops.
Gather feedback from customers whilst collaborating with our engineering and service teams.
Meet multiple customers weekly, and collaborate with them on designing and operating well-architected solutions.
Earn customer trust and show them the art of the possible, educating them around the capabilities of AWS.
Partner with internal teams and experts, leveraging a deep knowledge of our tools and products, to craft highly scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures that address our customers’ business problems.
Continuously learn and innovate daily.

Requirements

Experience with one of the following programming languages: Python, Ruby, Node.js, C#, or C++
Experience with two or more of the following: networking fundamentals, security, storage or databases (relational or NoSQL), operating systems (Unix, Linux, or Windows)

Desired Qualifications

Experience implementing a cloud-based technology solution
Experience in any of the following: Cloud Architecture, Systems Design, Software Development, Infrastructure Architecture, Data Engineering or DevOps
Experience with GenAI, Agentic AI, Analytics, Microservices architectures including the integration approaches
Ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges.
