ABB seeks an Associate Project Manager in Nashik, India, for a full-time, on-site role in the Electrification business, Smart Power division. This position involves leading small, low-complexity projects, managing project progress, risks, and financials, and ensuring formal project acceptance and close-out.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution of small projects with low complexity.
  • Ensure all project activities are executed in accordance with procedures, regulations, standards, specifications and targets.
  • Define and apply basic project scheduling techniques to manage schedule risks proactively.
  • Lead the project team allocated to the project.
  • Monitor and control project progress, efficient resource utilization, and project financials.
  • Identify, qualify, quantify, manage project risk, and ensure all opportunities are identified and pursued.
  • Drive the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out, and acknowledgment by the customer, all in accordance with the contract.

Requirements

  • 5 to 8 years of experience in Industrial Engineering / Manufacturing Operations.
  • Hands-on experience in process improvement, capacity planning, productivity improvement, manufacturing line setup, and industrialization.
  • Hands-on experience in LV Switchgear projects, preferably covering the complete project lifecycle from project initiation through close-out.
  • Good technical knowledge of LV Switchgear assemblies and IEC 61439.
  • Experience or understanding of components including ACBs, MCCBs, motor protection relays, numerical relays, soft starters, and VFDs.
  • Basic knowledge of LV Switchgear digitalization and communication protocols, including Modbus, Profibus, and IEC 61850, with an understanding of related network architecture.
  • Full-time Degree in Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline from a reputed university.
  • Ease communicating in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional and global teams.
  • Ability to prepare business communications, presentations, and technical reports.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in Hyperscale Data Center projects is preferred.
  • PMP certification is preferred.
