ABB is seeking an Associate Project Engineer in Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia to support engineering activities for projects of varying sizes. This hybrid/on-site role involves completing assigned tasks, ensuring compliance, and contributing to the engineering design process under senior guidance. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field and 3-5 years of control systems experience.

Responsibilities

Perform basic survey work, standard automation engineering, analysis, and basic design tasks.
Collect data and support engineering design production.
Exercise judgment on limited details of work and on the application of standard methods, and prepare relevant documentation.
Support communication pertaining to specific assignments in meetings.
Participate in workshops related to engineering, design, tools, and processes.
Work in graphic/application engineering development in DCS.
Program, implement, test, and document process control applications.
Understand control narratives and P&IDs.
Assist in preparing proposals/presentations of engineering projects/programs, including bills of materials and estimated engineering hours.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics & Communications, or Electrical Engineering.
3-5 years of experience with control systems.
Must be a team player, self-motivated, quick learner, adaptable, and flexible.
Willingness to travel and work at sites as and when required.
Willingness to travel domestically/overseas based on project need.

Desired Qualifications

ABB systems experience will be an advantage.
