Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for department goals in every channel and ensure action plans align with country priorities.
- Ensure the shop is in excellent condition, fully and efficiently stocked, and the product range is presented appealingly.
- Apply sales steering to top-selling and prioritized products, managing forecasting and phase-in/phase-out to maximize sales and profitability.
- Monitor main KPIs, analyze market input, investigate customer needs, and analyze stock availability to identify commercial opportunities and threats.
- Collaborate effectively with the Store Commercial Team and matrix in SO, keeping an eye on competition and sharing best practices.
- Work proactively with P&C to ensure adequate staffing and competence for the best customer experience.
- Ensure the team has the right growth mindset, sales attitude, and product/service knowledge to exceed customer expectations.
- Recruit, onboard, and develop team members, ensuring succession planning.
- Work on sustainability initiatives, ensuring priorities are reflected across store offerings.
Requirements
- Proven sales experience, including people coordination responsibilities.
- Knowledge of Sales techniques, local market and services, Sales Steering, Sales channels, Cycles, Data Analytics and Sales KPIs, P&L.
- Ability to explore potential business opportunities within the local market.
- Ability to understand customer needs and habits to promote an omnichannel approach.
- Ability to make things happen, prioritize, and make decisions by championing flexibility, speed, and simplicity.
- A considered decision-maker with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trustful relationships.
- Ability to organize and prioritize different tasks and processes.
- Ability to monitor performance, capture learnings, and use insights to improve planning and results.
- Fluency in both Italian and English is mandatory.
