Edwards is seeking an Assembly & Test Technician for their new facility in Buffalo, NY. This role involves assembling and testing modules, cables, and dry pumps, ensuring production quality and flow. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, knowledge of mechanical assembly, and experience with tools, with a salary range of $20.94 - $26.17 per hour.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and test modules, cables, and dry pumps in line with the daily production plan, focusing on quality and output targets.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work area.
  • Follow assembly and test instructions and procedures to meet output quality requirements.
  • Support the training of team members and collaborate to drive improvement and efficiency.
  • Maintain a good working relationship with department colleagues and supporting departments.
  • Communicate and seek guidance when encountering errors or difficulties in build.
  • Perform quality work checks to ensure the assembly meets quality standards.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent / associated experience.
  • Knowledge and experience of the principles of mechanical component constructions and assembly and test.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineered drawings and diagrams.
  • Experience with hand tools and small power tools, including pneumatic.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S.

Desired Qualifications

  • Dependent on assigned area (knowledge and experience of mechanical component constructions and assembly and test).
