Your role
The Assembler is responsible for putting together various parts based on mechanical and/or electrical prints and other visuals using both hand and power tools. In this position, you will work closely with other assemblers to connect components and construct our mechanical and/or electrical products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Follow technical instructions, interpret engineering blueprints, and technical terms
• Collect all material and equipment needed to begin the process
• Discern quality of parts and materials used in productions
• Follow company procedures and directives
• Check output to ensure highest quality
• Keep records of production quantities and time
• Report on issues, malfunction, and/or defective parts
• Maintain the tools used to create products
• Keep a clean and well-maintained workspace
• Experienced in basic fabrication, electrical, high purity plumbing and pipe fitting
• Connect wiring to accessories, such as relays, circuit breakers, plugs, fuses, and switches, and install accessory assemblies in electrical or electronic units, using soldering iron and other various hand tools
• Other duties as assigned
Skills/Knowledge/Experience
- Must be able to work 2nd shift: 2:30pm-11pm
- High School diploma minimum, Associates degree is a benefit
- 2 years assembly experience preferred
- Ability to read and interpret engineered drawings and diagrams
- Strong mechanical and/or electrical aptitude
- Good communication skills, ability to motivate and build team moral
- Knowledge of Encompix and ERP systems beneficial
Salary Range: $20 - $26 per hour
In addition to hourly rate you will be eligible for a shift differential of 10%.
