Responsibilities

  • Provide deep technical support to customers using Ansys Digital Engineering software including TPT (Time Partition Testing) and AVX (AVxcelerate), solving complex testing and simulation problems.
  • Own customer relationships at select strategic accounts, engaging to understand their engineering workflows, design challenges, and business goals.
  • Lead presales technical activities, running demos, proof-of-concept projects, and technical workshops.
  • Scope and deliver professional services engagements.
  • Gather and translate customer requirements into actionable product feedback for product development teams.
  • Develop reusable best practices, workflow templates, and knowledge base content.
  • Lead webinars, training sessions, and technical presentations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in automotive, semiconductor, or embedded systems engineering with hands-on exposure to testing, verification, or simulation workflows.
  • Deep working knowledge of Ansys TPT, AVX, or comparable commercial testing and verification software platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently solve complex technical problems and communicate solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong written and spoken English, with proven ability to create technical documentation, deliver presentations, and lead customer-facing meetings.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Experience leading multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities and delivering results on time.

Desired Qualifications

  • Master's or PhD preferred.
  • Ability to listen to a messy problem description and walk out with a clear plan.
  • Ability to solve the actual customer problem, not just the one they asked for.
  • Comfortable saying 'I don't know, but I'll find out' and following through.
  • Ability to explain complex tradeoffs to executives and debug workflows with engineers.
  • Ability to work with available information, fill in gaps, and keep the customer moving forward.
  • Ability to treat customer feedback as a gift and turn it into usable product input.
