Amazon is seeking an experienced Accounting Analyst in Bangalore, IN to support the operational accounting of a global team. This role involves day-to-day management of financial accounts, accounts payable support, annual audit support, and preparing key financial metrics and reports. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong analytical skills, finance knowledge, and experience with accounting software and Indian GAAP/IND-AS.

Responsibilities

Support accounting operations including month-end close, day-to-day management of financial accounts, accounts payable support, and annual audit support for multiple global entities.
Record and clean up Excel data, perform data collection, data entry, and data processing tasks.
Support ongoing finance reporting, analysis, and forecasting.
Assist in improving processes across all entities.
Collaborate with other teams to ensure financial reporting aligns with other systems.
Provide audited financial statements and other documents to tax teams for compliance.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in accounting and commerce (B. Com).
Advanced knowledge of Excel.
Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.
Experience with accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks.
Currently pursuing CA course, with sufficient experience to sit for the CA Final Exam.

Desired Qualifications

3+ years of finance operations/shared services, accounts payable, account receivable (collections) or general ledger experience.
Entrepreneurial spirit / start-up mindset.
Highly analytical, detail-oriented, with finance knowledge.
In-depth knowledge of Indian GAAP and IND_AS.
Basic understanding of tax laws.
Passion for owning solutions and solving issues.
