Alfa Laval is looking for an Accountant in Al Khobar, KSA. This full-time, on-site role involves managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger, along with preparing VAT returns and tax files. The ideal candidate will have experience with financial reconciliation and compliance.

Responsibilities

Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts (AP, AR, GL).
Maintain accurate accounting records in line with principles and reporting schedules.
Contribute to continuous improvements within the area of responsibility.
Collaborate with finance process counterparts, including Finance Shared Service Centre personnel.
Ensure accurate domestic supplier reconciliations.
Handle intercompany invoicing for cost reallocation.
Perform monthly GL reconciliations and maintain/reconcile GL (Suspense Account).
Prepare and assist with VAT submissions and document filing.
Prepare WH tax files.
Perform bank and cash postings and reconciliations, including SL revaluations.
Post payroll, leave, and bonus journals on Scala.
Prepare Concur transactions payments and post to Scala.
Check Concur transactions and reconcile specific GL accounts.
Post monthly accruals and interest on lease liability journals.
Assist with year-end audit preparation and queries.
Provide GL accounting support to the Finance Manager.
Maintain and reconcile IFRS 16 schedules.
Manage company credit cards.
Update Sales and Stock Modules after review.
Update FTE Stats.
Assist with onboarding and updating new suppliers in Scala.
Coordinate with the bank.
Assist sales and service operation teams with financial information.
Process GOSI payments.
Coordinate with external consultants (Tax & Assurance).

Requirements

Experience in accounting, specifically with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger.
Experience in preparing VAT return files and assisting with VAT submissions.
Experience in preparing WH tax files.
Experience with bank and cash reconciliations.
Familiarity with posting payroll, leave, and bonus journals.
Experience with Concur transactions and reconciliation.
Ability to prepare monthly accruals.
Experience assisting with year-end audit preparation.
Experience maintaining and reconciling IFRS 16 schedules.
Experience managing company credit cards.
Familiarity with GOSI payments.
