Responsibilities
- Provide accounting, reporting, and consolidation expertise.
- Support accounting and reporting matters to business/reporting units.
- Resolve accounting and reporting questions.
- Prepare and review financial statements.
- Follow up on accounting issues.
- Support the preparation of financial reports in compliance with internal guidelines, procedures, and external regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to the definition, implementation, and improvement of accounting policies.
- Execute established accounting policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with ABB group policies and local instructions.
- Perform quality checks on financial reporting data.
- Conduct analytical review of major fluctuations.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors on accounting and reporting issues.
- Conduct investigations and reconciliation of accounting transactions.
- Facilitate the resolution of accounting and reporting issues.
Requirements
- Highly skilled in accounting, reporting, tax.
- 5-8 years of experience in different finance roles (accounting, reporting, tax, audit).
- Degree in Accounting.
- At ease communicating in English.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working SAP is a plus.
- Experience in Fix Asset Accounting will be an advantage.
- Passionate about identifying errors, improving process, participating to different finance projects.
