Responsibilities
- Manage vendors for Amazon Retail US.
- Develop, implement, and iterate on business strategies to deliver growth and positive experience for sellers.
- Engage directly with Amazon’s vendors and internal teams to enable vendor growth.
- Utilize negotiation skills to drive performance of vendor partners.
- Analyze operational aspects of vendor businesses with Amazon.
- Perform root cause analysis of issues and opportunities affecting vendor businesses.
- Work on transactional but business critical activities with a hands-on approach.
- Contribute to business strategy development and identify correct input metrics that drive growth.
- Manage and deliver against complex goals where strategy is not defined.
- Make trade-offs between short term selling partner needs and longer term strategic investment.
- Identify new opportunities across a large number of brands, develop and execute project plans.
- Build and cultivate relationships with sellers and internal stakeholders.
- Monitor seller satisfaction survey results to investigate feedback trends.
- Establish improvement plans and manage expectations with Account Managers.
- Use customer feedback, market growth trends, and analyze key metrics to contribute to strategic development of features and programs.
- Spot areas of unnecessary process or inefficiencies and work to simplify.
- Identify, optimize, and scale improvements that can benefit a large set of customers.
- Develop mechanisms to create accountability.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience analyzing data and best practices to assess performance drivers
- 3+ years of client or vendor facing roles with a focus in relationship management and negotiation skills experience
Desired Qualifications
- Experience aggregating and analyzing internal and external campaign metrics to assess performance drivers and identify insights
- Proven track record of building and cultivating relationships with internal and external stakeholders driving resolutions collaboratively, resolving conflicts, and ensuring follow-through with excellent verbal and written communication
