What you’ll do

 

As a developer in the ABAP Platform Developer Tools scrum team, you will be responsible for:

  • Design, development and testing of usable software in tight collaboration with the Product owner and the team 
  • Working on problems of relatively complex scope, through general usage of standard programming concepts and principles and application of own judgment
  • Gaining domain knowledge and technical/proprietary skills to reach levels of expertise
  • Having a logical approach to problem solving and the ability to respond to detailed queries
  • Working as a fully contributing team member with independent planning & execution responsibilities

What you bring

 

  • Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Engineering OR Technology, Majoring in Computer Science or Information Science, from a reputed institute, with excellent academic records
  • 0-3 years of experience in software development
  • Excellent Programming and Object Oriented Design skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work with the team in the design and development aspects for the product
  • Goal-oriented team worker with good communication skills. Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to work independently, and eagerness to learn and explore new topics
  • Excellent programming know-how in any OO language [Java, ABAP]
  • Understanding of web application development and MVC architecture are added advantages

As a part of the ABAP Platform developer tools unit contributing to key-user tooling for SAP S/4HANA, we are committed towards providing business experts with little technical knowledge from our customer organizations with easy to use low-code/no-code tooling to leverage embedded analytics within their core ERP system. We also provide tooling to integrate analytical queries with analytics clients such as SAP Analytics Cloud for both developer and key-user personas.

Summary & Role Information: As SAP Procurement Product Team, our mission is to provide the world’s leading cloud-based spend management solution, unifying the SAP Procurement portfolio across SAP S/4HANA, SAP Ariba Applications & Business Network, and SAP Fieldglass.  To strengthen further our team, we are looking for an experienced Java Developer to work with the leading Infrastructure & Platform-as-a-Service (SAP Cloud Platform). S/he must possess superior technical leadership, communication skills and demonstrates independence in decision making. S/he is capable to perform development tasks and take decisions independently, demonstrate responsibility for all tasks and ensure completion with good quality, timely delivery and efficiency.
