Your Impact:

ASP is seeking a Data Analyst to join our global Data Analytics Team. In this role, you will be responsible for reporting solutions that will be used for data driven decisions at ASP. This role provides solutions for functions that include Finance, Accounting, Commercial (Sales and Marketing), Supply Chain, Operations, Quality and R&D functions globally. The role will provide education on our Data Analytics tool and Data environment. In addition, the role will participate and lead projects using The Fortive Business System (FBS), positively impacting ASP.

 

Responsibilities:

·       Function as a technical resource for reporting and analytics projects to our customers (e.g. Finance, Commercial and Operations functions).

·       Keep up to date with the ASP data landscape of source systems including SAP S4, SAP GTS, and Salesforce. Based on this provide recommendations and drive direction for dashboard development.

·       Provide education tools that include videos, documentation and presentations to our customers on the Data Analytics landscape and tools.

·       Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to convey technical information to non-technical people at all levels for the organizations.

·       Understand and convert business requirements into documented system requirements.

·       Support the Development lifecycle of the Dashboards.

·       Support the development lifecycle for analytics request from multiple ASP functions.

·       Actively participate in Data Science community by being familiar with current and future trends in the industry. Share this information with the team so that improvements can be made.

·       Support and participate in FBS events. Stay up to date with FBS education new processes and procedures.

·       Ability to meet deadlines with a high degree of accuracy; Very detailed-oriented professional with a desire to dig into to the details to understand data and business trends.

Qualifications - External

Minimum Requirements:

·       Bachelor’s degree.

·       Experience working with a BI platform connected to multiple source enterprise applications, databases and sources.

·       Experience with continuous improvement frameworks such as 6 sigma and Kaizens.

·       Strong interpersonal skills with a high degree of maturity, diplomacy and professionalism.

·       Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to convey technical information to non- technical people at all levels of the organizations.

 

Preferred Requirements

·       Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics/Data Science/Math/Computer Science

·       Experience with SAP, Salesforce, Tableau, Power BI, Incorta
