Job description 

The most important role of a Technical Anchor is to bridge the gap between technical expertise and business insights by working with business partners, product managers, and product owners to provide designs that meet business needs and are effective, efficient, and enjoyable.

Responsible for leading and mentoring the team of developers and overall project requirements, able to design and implement various modules of the solution.

Responsible for participating in design, architecture and implementing the data processing systems capable of processing, storing, and distributing data in robust Big Data Solutions
Produces prototypes to evaluate with the users and team and for early mockups Identifies potential blockers and work with the team for resolution or escalates as appropriate. 

Communicates with end users to set expectations and ensure alignment around data accuracy, completeness, timeliness and consistency.

Awareness of and compliance with data privacy, security, legal and contractual guidelines Supports a high-performing culture among product team members . 

Performs Root cause Analysis of Incidents/Problems & identify opportunities for improvement.

Experience working in agile development process and good understanding of various phases of Software Development Lifecycle. Must be aware about agile culture, roles, tools and terminology 

Should be independent and quick learner with excellent communication/ interpersonal skills 


 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Overall 7 to 10 years of experience. 

Extensive Experience in SDLC of multiple technologies and with Agile projects

Requires 6+ years of development experience in Big data technologies like Hadoop, Hive, sqoop, oozie, Spark, Scala/ pyspark and ETL
Requires 3+ years of cloud experience - GCP/ AWS/ AZURE (Preferably GCP - Big Query, Airflow, GCS)
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Scripting (Shell/ JavaScript, Python) and any programming language
Experience in working with complex SQL/ HQL
Extensive experience in Kafka, Rest API Services

Experience in Dev/Ops, GitHub, CI/CD (Terraform, Jenkins, Tekton)

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience working with Databases such as Oracle, SQL, DB2 or MongoDB etc.

Experience as a Technical Architect or Solution Architect
