Responsibilities

·         Problem-solving skills using mathematical and statistical programming languages (for example R, Python, MATLAB) for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.

·         Experience with machine learning, forecasting algorithms and statistical robustness testing required.

·         Advanced SQL skill set.

·         Demonstrated track record of taking stakeholder requests and being able to produce robust statistical analysis leading to actionable insights that meet those requests.

·         Be process-minded - experience with producing analysis which is appropriately documented, can be replicated and is scalable, and capable of being productionised

·         Demonstrated experience producing model documentation and model validation processes.

·         Good data visualization skills would be beneficial.

·         Should have some team management experience

·         Establish process rigor and should be a transformation evangelist

·         Ability to articulate communications with the customer

·         Time management skills

Qualifications
Minimum qualifications

·         Advanced Degree (master's or above) in a discipline such as Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science

·         Strong quantitative, logical reasoning, and analytical skills

·         Excellent programming skills; experience with Python or R

·         Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies

Preferred qualifications

·         Good data visualization skills would be beneficial

·         An interest and/or background in finance is a large plus.

·         Six sigma certified
