Requirements:

·               6+ years of experience working with JDE

·               ­6+ years of experience with Linux, AS400, AIX, HP and Solaris

·               Extensive experience with JDE CNC activities like Fresh Install, Upgrade, ESU/ASU Install, ASI, Package Build and Simplified Upgrade

·               Experience in Trending and Stability testing

·               Experience with writing Python and Shell scripts for automation

·               Experience with AS400, DB2/400 and its administration

·               Proven ability to quickly learn new technical domains and then train others

·               Great verbal and written communication skills

 

Responsibilities

As a member of the software engineering division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.

Software configuration management and maintenance, e.g. source control area configuration, branching, forking. Design, development, and execution of release packaging processes and standards. Design, development, and maintenance of release critical systems and reports to automate release packaging processes and standards validation. Oracle E-Business Suite install, upgrades, maintenance, and patching as part of certifying release update packs.  Install testing and certifying all the supported NLS languages for EBS. Creating the Rapid Install Shiphome, Media Pack and delivering them to customers.
