DESCRIPTION

The primary objective of the Security & Loss Prevention coordinator is to ensure the protection of people & assets of Amazon’s facilities in accordance with global Security guidelines and Policies.
The role is cross-functional and requires deep collaboration and influencing ability with stakeholders from business and corporate functions. Being TSS custodian the primary function is to regulate and monitor the TSS process. TSS checks and interventions are carried out at Guard shack (Check in and check out), inbound and outbound docks, yard area including vehicle parking. TSS lock mechanism process standardization covering to IN-network and also providing insights to potential risks emanated with existing TSS locking systems. TSS process include IB&OB movement flow, TSS health check, TSS monitoring as pertinent.

SLP Coordinator will also assist Security Manager, in day to day activities, planning, sourcing and executing the process and procedure. The Security Coordinator along with Security Team works together to ensure and maintain high quality and timely support to the Line haul/Operations of the organization.


Key job responsibilities
1. Secure Surface Transportation Command & Control
• Alert Monitoring
• Live tracking
• Incident Management
• Ensure on the number of high-value cargo movements (WT-FC-FC) Tracked and also monitoring the TSS open alert across the network by the surface transportation control room
• Coordination with NOC and LH Team
• Coordination with IMT (incident management team)
• Secure Cross-docking
• TSS (truck secure solution) health/ opening/closing/ GPS report monitoring

2. Security Operation
• Implementation & Follow-up of Security Plan
• Reports - Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Half yearly and Annual
• All the Control Room systems are functioning properly
• Ensure all posts are required tools should be available
3. Audits/Certifications
• Keeping the plans & SOPs updated
• Periodical Check of Documentation
• Preparation of Documents for Internal & External Audits
TSS Health of vehicles in WT and core network
• Process Improvement & Loss Prevention Program
Process Review & Necessary Improvements
• Process Improvisation
• Quarterly Assessment
• Follow up & Completion of CAPA (Corrective & Preventive Action)

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS


Graduation with minimum 3 years of experience in the field of Security, Loss Prevention, Shrinkage, Asset Protection, Investigations, Inventory University degree level or equivalent through experience and professional certification. Ø A minimum of 3- 5 years in law enforcement or security-related profession. Ø Extensive and up to date knowledge of security equipment and technology. Ø Experience in managing or coordinating security investigations of complex nature. Ø Knowledge of information security processes and systems. Ø Experience in security auditing. Ø Exposure to MNC culture and dynamics.
 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

The SLP Manager is a key member of the ATS working with the Regional team as well as cross functional teams throughout the organization. (2) Possessing a thorough understanding of central/state security issues and demonstrate excellence in ability to implement and ensure sites compliance with company security policies and any industry or merchant requirements. (3) Completing and/or coordinating the final test and acceptance of site security systems that leverage our access control system. (6) Ensuring guarding vendor(s) have clear understanding of expectations and hold them accountable to deliver on them and meet or surpass service level agreement requirements.
