Job Description

The Senior DevOps Engineer  is responsible for working and collaborating with our SDLC engineering, architecture and operations teams.

Key focus areas for this role are platform development, quality control , continuous improvements through process streamlining and automation, service availability, resiliency, service quality, capacity management, and cost of ownership, end-user performance, and architectural scalability.

Qualifications

A candidate must have knowledge of:

  • Build and maintenance tools for deployment, monitoring and operations, troubleshoot and resolve issues in our development, test and production environments.
  • Overall DevOps skills – Experience in Jenkins
  • Most important: Java/Python – Groovy is a nice to have
  • Must have: Understanding of key components of a Micro-services architecture including containers, load balancing, distributed cache. – Java Spring Boot
  • Configuring and deploying services on Linux/Unix – nice to have
  • Experience of AWS cloud is a must or any cloud should be okay.
  • Experience of Kubernetes is required – Any kind of container orchestration knowledge
  • Must have written Kubernetes manifests files.
  • Experience of terraform
  • Openshift experience is good to have.
  • Experience of IBM UCD is good to have.
  • Should be very strong in troubleshooting of application server and log analysis – Infrastructure and Application logs analysis
  • Experience with automation/configuration management using either Puppet, Ansible or an equivalent (preferred)
  • Very good with problem solving and troubleshooting skills

Pay Range: $90,000 - $175,000

Job Description We are seeking to hire an individual with approx. 2-4 years accounting related experience. This position will contribute to the successful operation of the North American Controllership group. The group performs the month end ledger close process and prepares financial reporting to the parent company, Publicis Groupe. The group also provides account reconciliations, fixed asset accounting and reporting, intercompany balancing, audit, and tax support.  This is an exciting time at PublicisSapient as we continue to grow as a business and embark on a large systems conversion from Oracle to SAP.    Primary Responsibilities: •    Preparation of journal entries and support monthly close process •    Monthly preparation and review of account reconciliations •    Coordinate with various Shared Services groups to investigate open items and resolve issues.  •    Intercompany reporting, reconciliation and balancing •    Interaction with various financial personnel at the operational units to provide information, answer questions and resolve issues •    Support requests from tax, internal audit, and other shared service organizations within the company •    Preparation of balance sheet and P&L analysis and reconciliations •    Preparation of audit schedules as required •    Follow and enforce parent company accounting policies and procedures. •    Finding efficiencies and assisting to implement new procedures and controls. Ensure delivery of engineering solutions meet budget, schedule, and agreed scope. Interface with customers on engineering requirements, issues, planning, and status updates. Utilize system documentation such as design documents and API specification to integrate new system features. Serve as technical support for customers, supporting technical presentations, discussions, and workshops. Participate in cross-team collaboration using tools such as Confluence, SharePoint, and Slack. Monitor software development activities and status using Jira. Document all relevant details from the initial report of an issue, through troubleshooting, escalation, and resolution. Respond to customers in a professional and timely manner to deliver workarounds and solutions for complex technical problems.   Who you are: A collaborative team player and proactive self-starter, requiring minimal supervision for crucial task completion. Demonstrates a strong technical foundation, showcasing practical skills with engineering problem-solving and analytical tasks. Passionate about acquiring new knowledge and adept at solving intricate system issues independently.   Minimum Job Requirements: Four-year college degree in Computer Science/Information Technology Engineering or related technical discipline.
