Responsibilities
- Manage and plan daily workshop operations, including staff motivation and service flow.
- Develop and implement standards for cleanliness, tool maintenance, and equipment calibration.
- Ensure spare parts availability and adherence to service exchange and warranty procedures.
- Create working time schedules for staff shifts.
- Build and maintain customer relationships, handle major complaints, and assist with technical issues.
- Market Scania services solutions to existing and potential customers.
- Monitor workshop pricing and discounts.
- Develop the workshop business by following up on budgets, results, and operational targets (KPIs).
- Manage workshop facilities and applicable licenses.
- Analyze current standards to identify and implement improvement opportunities.
Requirements
- Qualified Diesel Technician with a Trade certificate.
- 5+ years of technical workshop experience.
- Experience in Supervising/Team Leader role in an automotive workshop environment is advantageous.
- Valid Heavy Vehicle license is advantageous.
- Knowledge of SHE, SRS, and DOS Requirements.
- Computer literacy (MS Office, Scania systems).
- Medically fit.
- Employed in current role for a minimum of 1 year.
