As a Workpackage Controller at Alstom, you will be a key financial partner for Asset Life Management (ALM) projects, providing analysis and guidance to support optimal business decisions. You will manage cost controlling, forecast financial KPIs, and review project gross margins to ensure adherence to financial targets.
Responsibilities
- Act as a business partner to provide finance advice, guidance, and tutoring to the core project team.
- Escalate risks and opportunities to increase core team attention on specific costing issues.
- Forecast, challenge, and approve Project Financial KPIs such as cash, sales, and margin.
- Control the project gross margin through detailed work package reviews.
- Continuously add value by controlling the different financial budgets set at tender stage.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or similar.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant project experience, with some finance/accounting exposure.
- Sound finance fundamentals, curiosity, and willingness to learn.
- Knowledge of a language other than French is an asset.
Desired Qualifications
- Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- CPA certification is an asset.
