Responsibilities
- Defining and implementing the engineering vision, including team development, technology evolution, and department competitiveness
- Setting clear team goals, delegating tasks, and establishing deadlines
- Providing support for project and program execution
- Promoting Alstom’s values and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation
- Motivating, evaluating, and developing team members, in collaboration with HR
- Recognizing high performance and rewarding accomplishments
- Developing the growth of World Class Engineering (WCE) experts
- Ensuring the deployment and improvement of processes, methods, and tools within your scope
- Contributing to the Reference Library and improvement roadmaps to enhance competitiveness
- Overseeing workload forecasts and capacity planning, leveraging subcontracting and business strategies
- Participating in tender design reviews and documentation reviews
- Committing to Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) targets for your domain
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field
- Proven experience in leading and managing engineering teams
- Strong understanding of engineering processes, methods, and tools
- Familiarity with project/program management practices
- Excellent communication and motivation skills
- Ability to foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement

- A leadership or management certification (preferred)
