In short

Arla Foods Oswestry is seeking a permanent Warehouse Operative to join their team. The role involves packing and distributing cheese products, with duties including moving items to cold storage, order picking, loading/unloading vehicles, and maintaining safety standards. A 3 on, 3 off, 12-hour shift pattern (days and nights) is required.

Responsibilities

Moving finished product from the production area into the refrigerated storage area
Completing all cold store functions including order picking, physical inventory, loading and house-keeping duties
Loading and unloading of vehicles, operating pallet trucks and completion of paperwork
Supporting and maintaining safety and hygiene standards

Requirements

Ambition & drive
A good attendance record and a willingness to learn further skills
We are looking for a motivated team player, who can work on their own initiative
You’re as serious about quality as we are – and ready to work hard to achieve it

Desired Qualifications

Previous experience working within a similar environment would be beneficial but not essential
Previous experience with food safety regulations and practices would be beneficial but not essential as all training and support will be provided during your induction period
