Edwards is seeking an experienced Warehouse Cell Leader in Bristol, UK, to manage daily warehouse operations and lead a high-performing team. Responsibilities include ensuring safe and efficient receipt, storage, and picking of materials, driving operational performance, maintaining inventory accuracy, and managing 3PL relationships. The ideal candidate will have proven warehouse/logistics experience and previous team leadership.
Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate warehouse teams to achieve operational and service targets.
- Ensure high standards of health, safety, quality, and compliance.
- Oversee warehouse operations, including goods-in, replenishment and picking.
- Support inventory control activities and maintain stock accuracy.
- Coordinate and monitor third-party logistics providers.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, productivity, and customer service.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure material availability and on-time delivery performance.
Requirements
- Proven experience in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain operations.
- Previous team leadership or supervisory experience.
- Strong understanding of inventory control and warehouse processes.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
- Passionate about safety, continuous improvement, and delivering results.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with 3PL providers is advantageous.
- AutoStore or automated warehouse experience is desirable.
- Hands-on leader with a strong safety-first mindset, a focus on operational excellence, and the ability to inspire and develop your team while driving performance and continuous improvement.
