Responsibilities
- Own the P&L and relationships with large vendors in Electronics and Kitchen.
- Manage performance of the product portfolio.
- Develop vendor relationships, negotiate terms and contracts.
- Expand product selection, set prices, and set inventory forecasts.
- Develop marketing programs and drive sales and margin improvements.
- Create a best-in-class customer experience.
- Understand industry and business trends, monitor industry and competitor developments.
- Maximize Amazon’s business and financial profitability through selection optimization and expansion.
- Understand customer needs and advocate for improvements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor selection, on-boarding, escalations, and negotiations.
- Coordinate across cross-functional teams and communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Own forecasting, analyzing, understanding, and reporting on the business.
Requirements
- 1+ years of account management, project or program management or buying experience.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience using Excel and other business analytic tools.
- Experience with software and editing tools (including HTML, Excel and SQL).
- Experience in online retail.
- Experience using analytical specific tools such as Google Analytics, SQL or HTML.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
