As a US Sales Operations Manager for Edwards Vacuum LLC, you will lead a customer care/sales operations team to provide best-in-class support to US customers, improve customer relations, and drive sales & service objectives. This hybrid role involves managing daily operations, team development, process improvement, and business development to achieve yearly goals.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and lead customer care/sales operations team for US customers.
  • Improve customer relations and drive increased revenue.
  • Manage personnel requirements including recruiting, onboarding, training, and performance appraisals.
  • Daily management of US Customer Care/Sales Operations phone queues, portals, and workload.
  • Attend weekly open order book reviews and Business Unit reviews.
  • Approve team timecards, expense reports, and time off requests.
  • Identify and resolve process issues and training gaps.
  • Review and cascade KPIs to the team.
  • Resolve customer complaints and escalations, promoting quality interactions.
  • Implement changes in policies and procedures.
  • Conduct quarterly visits to US team members outside of Sanborn.
  • Manage key account cash collections and report customer credits.
  • Approve CRM activities.
  • Achieve yearly sales, revenue, and profit goals through business development.

Requirements

  • Ability to think strategically and lead a team.
  • Experience using complex ERP system environments (e.g., Oracle, SAP, CRM).
  • Proven work experience in a lead customer service role.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks in a high workload environment.
  • Team player: ability to work cooperatively across multiple functions & territories.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • 5+ years work experience in customer service in a supervisory or lead capacity.

Desired Qualifications

  • International and highly automated environment is preferred.
  • Associate degree or equivalent experience.
