As a Transportation Specialist at Amazon's Transportation Operation Center (TOC) in Hyderabad, you will facilitate information flow, resolve issues impacting customer experience, and analyze network data. This role involves both inbound and outbound operations, requiring strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills with a basic understanding of logistics.

Responsibilities

Facilitate flow of information between different stakeholders (Trans Carriers/Hubs/Warehouses).
Resolve potential issues impacting customer experience and business continuity.
Address potential issues occurring during the lifecycle of pick-up to delivery (Inbound).
Address potential issues occurring during the lifecycle of freight leaving the FC and reaching customer premises (Outbound).
Provide timely resolution by researching internal tools and making real-time decisions.
Analyze data, notice trends, and drive Customer Experience.
Communicate clearly in written and oral form.
Ideate process improvements and drive them to conclusion.
Communicate with external customers (Carriers, Vendors/Suppliers) and internal customers (Retail, Finance, Software Support, Fulfillment Centers).
Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed.
Develop and/or understand performance metrics to assist with driving business results.
Scope out business and functional requirements for Amazon technology teams.
Understand the business impact of trends and make data-driven decisions.
Systematically escalate problems or variance in data to relevant owners and follow through on resolutions.
Work within various time constraints to meet critical business needs.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a quantitative/technical field such as computer science, engineering, statistics.
Experience with Excel.

Desired Qualifications

Experience with SQL.
