Amazon's Transportation Operation Center (TOC) is seeking a Transportation Representative for EU Fleet. This role involves facilitating information flow between stakeholders, resolving logistics issues impacting customer experience, and analyzing network data to identify trends and propose process improvements. The ideal candidate will have experience with Excel, basic logistics knowledge, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with external customers (Carriers, Vendors/Suppliers) and internal customers (Retail, Finance, Software Support, Fulfillment Centers).
  • Pull data from numerous databases (using Excel, Access, SQL and/or other data management systems) and perform ad hoc reporting and analysis.
  • Develop and understand performance metrics to assist with driving business results.
  • Scope out business and functional requirements for Amazon technology teams who create and enhance software systems and tools used by TOC.
  • Quickly understand the business impact of trends and make data-driven decisions.
  • Systematically escalate problems or variances to relevant owners and teams and follow through on resolutions.
  • Work within various time constraints to meet critical business needs, while measuring and identifying activities performed.
  • Create narratives outlining weekly findings and variances to goals, and present these findings in a review forum.
