In short

As a Transportation Representative in Amazon's Network Operation Center (NOC) in Telangana, India, you will facilitate the flow of information between stakeholders, resolve transportation exceptions, and ensure timely pick-up and delivery of freight. This role involves real-time problem-solving, data analysis, and driving process improvements within a dynamic logistics environment to enhance customer experience and business continuity.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate flow of information between different stakeholders (Trans Carriers/Hubs/Warehouses).
  • Resolve potential issues impacting customer experience and business continuity.
  • Address potential issues occurring during the lifecycle of pick-up to delivery (Inbound Operations).
  • Address potential issues occurring during the lifecycle of freight leaving the FC and reaching customer premises (Outbound Operations).
  • Provide timely resolution to issues by researching and querying internal tools and taking real-time decisions.
  • Communicate with external customers (Carriers, Vendors/Suppliers) and internal customers (Retail, Finance, Software Support, Fulfillment Centers).
  • Systematically escalate problems or variance in information and data to relevant owners and teams, and follow through on resolutions.
  • Create a narrative outlining weekly findings and variances to goals, and present these findings in a review forum.
  • Ideate process improvements and drive them to conclusion.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 12-24 months of work experience
  • Good communication skills
  • Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, vlookups)
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team in a very dynamic environment
  • Basic understanding of Logistics
  • Ability to communicate clearly in written and oral form
