Amazon's Network Operations Center is seeking a Transportation Representative in Telangana, India, to manage freight movement, resolve exceptions, and ensure timely deliveries. Responsibilities

  • Serve as the communication bridge between external stakeholders (Carriers, Vendors/Suppliers) and internal stakeholders (Retail, Finance, Software Support, Fulfillment Centers).
  • Systematically escalate issues or data variances to the appropriate owners and teams, and follow through to ensure timely resolution.
  • Prepare and present weekly narratives that outline key findings and variances against goals in review forums.
  • Deliver real-time customer experience support within a 24x7 operating environment.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and drive them to completion.
  • Manage vendor/carrier/FC relationships for inbound freight pickup and delivery.
  • Address issues arising during the pick-up to delivery lifecycle.
  • Manage FC/Carrier/Carrier Hub relationships for outbound freight departures.
  • Address issues from freight departure from FC through to last-mile delivery.
  • Drive real-time resolutions by leveraging internal tools, querying relevant data, and making informed, time-sensitive decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
  • 12-24 months of relevant work experience.
  • Strong communication skills — both verbal and written — with the ability to facilitate seamless information flow between external and internal stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
