Amazon is seeking a Training Specialist to support last mile operations training. This role focuses on enhancing employee competencies through effective training programs, improving workplace performance, and driving quality and learning metrics. The specialist will conduct various training sessions and manage learning metrics for assigned territories.
Responsibilities
- Supervise structured learning metrics and their results for assigned territory and region.
- Manage live performance metrics end-to-end for the assigned territory.
- Conduct learning sessions on new processes and BQM through ITL or digital learning.
- Deliver various training courses as continuous learning.
- Maintain data and analysis through reports on Excel.
- Ensure timely completion of new hire training, coaching, and other performance improvement programs.
- Partner with operations leaders to conduct station audits, check process compliance, and fix gaps.
- Identify and certify learning coaches.
- Lead individual improvement projects to enhance business performance.
- Drive Quality & Learning metrics.
- Conduct chime sessions and classroom sessions to stakeholders.
- Track daily business metrics and plan station visits for metric improvement.
- Perform daily reporting and progress updates.
- Engage with mapped LAs/LGs for daily L&D activities.
Requirements
- Experience with written and verbal communication and presentation.
- Experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Desired Qualifications
- Experience using the Training Needs Analysis process, including assessing performance gaps, analyzing learning needs, designing and developing customer-centric solutions, and evaluating the effectiveness of learning programs.
