HCLTech is seeking an experienced DevOps/SRE/Platform Engineer for a Track Lead role in Hyderabad. The position focuses on automating infrastructure and application validation across Windows, Linux, and AWS, utilizing tools like Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, and Python for CI/CD, production reliability, and operational workflows.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain automated validation and operational workflows across Windows, Linux, and AWS.
Validate deployments, infrastructure, connectivity, services, permissions, dependencies, and system health.
Build and support Jenkins CI/CD pipelines, including automated testing, result publishing, and failure handling.
Develop Ansible playbooks, roles, and reusable automation for configuration and post-change validation.
Perform OS-level troubleshooting including services, processes, logs, scheduled tasks, file systems, certificates, patching, and network connectivity.
Develop reusable automation and validation tools using Python, PowerShell, Shell scripting, JavaScript, or similar languages.
Support infrastructure-as-code and Git-based delivery using Terraform, CloudFormation, JSON, YAML, and HCL.
Implement automated smoke, API, integration, synthetic, and UI validation tests.
Monitor operational health using metrics, logs, alerts, dashboards, health checks, and production-readiness indicators.
Validate application dependencies including databases, middleware, web servers, APIs, message queues, schedulers, and application runtimes.
Collaborate with DevOps, SRE, application, infrastructure, architecture, release, and support teams.

Requirements

DevOps/SRE/Platform Engineering expertise.
Strong knowledge of AWS, Windows, Linux.
Experience with Jenkins, Ansible, CI/CD, and Automation.
Proficiency in Python/PowerShell/Shell scripting.
Hands-on experience with Terraform and CloudFormation.
Familiarity with Git, YAML, JSON, HCL.
Experience with API testing and integration testing.
Knowledge of Selenium or equivalent UI automation tools.
Understanding of observability, monitoring, and logging.
Experience with databases like SQL Server, Oracle, MariaDB, MongoDB.
Familiarity with middleware, APIs, message queues, and schedulers.

Desired Qualifications

Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills across infrastructure, operating systems, cloud, networking, and application dependencies.
Strong understanding of automation, reliability, deployment validation, and operational excellence.
Ability to design repeatable and reusable automation and validation solutions.
Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across multiple engineering and support teams.
Experience validating databases, middleware, APIs, web servers, message queues, schedulers, and application runtimes is highly desirable.
